Nature and Environmental Education

For many years, KonTiKi has been an integral part of the Mundenhof: schoolchildren and young people discover nature, animals and sustainability, and take on responsibility for looking after the animals. With the new ‘Zukunftsschmiede’ (Future Forge) and the ‘Zukunftsgarten’ (Future Garden), the range of nature and environmental education programmes is expanding to include a learning space for topics such as biodiversity, nutrition and climate-friendly gardening. Here, young people can try things out for themselves, touch, smell and taste – and experience how nature and the future are interconnected.
